Global or AT&T HTC One X?

So I currently have an HTC Inspire 4G and want to upgrade very badly. The phone I am eyeing is the One X (won't consider the One S) but I see 2 options.
First option would be to pay a premium for a global model which gives me the phone now, all the "glory" of quad core goodness but downside is no 4G LTE.
Second option is to wait for AT&T model. This would give me a reduced price and 4G LTE speeds but at the cost of the dual core. Before Anyone argues that tests on One S proved to be faster in many cases keep in mind the larger screen and resolution would make a sizable difference, I believe.
So do I get a global one with quad core but slower network speeds or AT&T with dual cores but faster network speeds?
Would love any and all thoughts/suggestions!
