HI, i can tell you that when i changed the pcm the first time through a company i found on line it failed rather quick. i would say about 4 months and the jeep still didn't run quite up to par either.but if you have a auto zone in your area they will get you the right one for 200.00 dollars and they also back it for a year and replace it with no questions asked. i bought the one i have now from them and the jeep has never run better...well except for when it was new any way but you wont be disappointed . I have a 97 grand cherokee and the new pcm has been in it for over a year now with not even as much as a hiccup.the thing used to stall every time i was out in it but now its been fine.hope this helps cause i was extremely frustrated for a long time until i replaced it the second time through auto zone. good luck and keep us posted.
