There were no selections offered that I could say I did. It's impossible to not do *something* with them even if, like a friend of mine, just leave them on the media card (SD, Compact Flash etc). When full, get new media card.
I merely copy them off the media card to the computer, and then burn a CD for storage and backup. Most of them just sit on the CD forever. <g>
In all honesty, I do gather some (more important) on the computer and then use Picasa to organize them (and then burn that organization groupings to CD -- double backup for key photos).
Most of my digital photos are for reference. I take shots of key computer screens (lots easier than taking notes). Also, screens that do not print out correctly (like Google maps and directions). I take a photo of a screen and then print that out. Result is what I really want to see.
Hope these ideas are useful for some folks.
