OK, so what kind of cell phone do you have? Obviously mine is a piece of crap, for it does not work. It works in urban areas only--and really good there. No dropped signals or anything. But, get 50 miles out in the middle of nowhere, with a serial killer riding your bumper and you get blank reception. I don't know anyone here who has successfully got cellphone coverage in a plane. Our planes fly high, too, to get over the mountains.
