I have 2 of these DLP's. The older is a 65" that doesn't have spots yet. However it is not used very often. The 60" that is used daily now has spots. I just replaced the bulb a few days before the spots starting showing. Is that just a coincident?
A co-worker had this problem a month ago and they sent him a chip at no cost and let him replace it himself if he signed a waiver. I was just told they do not do that anymore. Has anyone else had any luck getting a chip sent to them and not paying the $200 service fee?
