Just a FYI I am a Comcast Phone support rep, I on my own time/breaks or at my home. Please understand I don't know all market areas and I will not get into any arguments about service. Though discussions I don't mind.

If your Area is getting the new Docsiss 3.0 system then congratz, though yes you will need the DTA converters for any channel above 13 for analog.
( We are only required to carry local broadcast by law. )

sbowman493, the market I am in has held off upgrading because of this, to avoid confusion with the DTV transition.

jwjw4, you are using the QAM signals, they will work, but we have never made any garuntee as to them being there or the lineup being the same all the time.
We recomend getting a digital box of some kind to get the lineup properly.

Canyonbabe711, I am not sure what you mean by FM Radio stations? Could you explain more? (if your refering to music choice look lower in post)

I am sorry closed captioning does not work, it may be something that those boxes do not do? (this is where I lack information )

I assume you have closed captioning setup on your TV due to the fact our boxes do not really do it.
I would tripple check the settings on the TV just to be sure ( it might just be that we are sending CC2 instead of standard CC1? Just speculating)

(using all caps to show seriousness)

WE DO NOT BLOCK HD ON QAM !!!

again

WE DO NOT BLOCK HD ON QAM !!!

If you can view the channel normally as it is now, if it has a HD version you will be able to view it. ( so ABC CBS NBC... you get the drift )

I recomend going though and checking and seeing if you can reset the tv's lineup ( plugged directly into the TV ) and see if it can see all the channels again.

If you find more channels you probabbly will find those music channels/FM that you were mentioning.

Remember QAM will shift and change often so don't expect 70.5 to be the same thing.

Let me know if I can help any.
I will check back but i do have this thread tracked ( just sometimes can't/don't check quickly )

take care.
