more reviews and info on the Edirol R-1

I'm a radio journalist also looking for high-quality digital recorder, no MP3 player seems to be able to guarantee quality (apart from maybe the iRiver H120) so it looks like Edirol's the answer.

Thanks again charles for your detailed responses. Also found these reviews on a website, might shed some more light on the R-1 for those considering buying it.
Contains info on battery usage, recording levels and build quality.
