In case you missed it, I posted a mini-review as well as some samples recorded on the R1 internal mics.

Note that these recordings are not attempts to show how good the R1 sounds. They are simple field recordings and should be used to evaluate how the R1 sounds in field recording situations. Since the R1 mics are omnis, they tend to pick up more room sound than cardioids unless close mic'd.
