Back to your issue. I'd go ahead and call it in and try the old line "It did this when it was 6 months old and I didn't have time then to call you." I can't read your warranty but it's worth a try.

The makers sometimes offer a refurb or some other deal at a cheaper cost than a new camera. Your choice on that but most of the time it's a good offer that I'll accept.
