Actually, you CAN transfer from internal memory to the stick

Here's what you do:

With the memory stick loaded in the camera, go to the setup menu. scroll down to the memory stick tool. Within the tool, scroll down to copy. Click ok and all images from internal memory are copied onto the memory stick.

Easy.
