Digital cameras forum: megxon 8mp camera and info. info pls

Hi folks,
I'm new to this sort of site. I came across it looking for info on a mexgon camera. I bought a Mexgon camera last year it seemed good and was easy to use until I had it out in bright sunlight. Then the pictures were totaly over exposed. My wife was taking picures in the same conditions with a 10 year old Kodak and her results were fine. This year I decided to by a polorised filter and ran into a probem. The Mexgon has a 50mm lenze every body else uses 49mm so I had try and make a 49mm lenze adaper fit a 50mm lenze.OK so I did manage it but the guy in the shop was a good salesman and as was going to the Grand Cayon also sold me a wide angled lenze, but the adaper cuts the corners of the picures and the only way round this is is to zoom in a bit, but if you do that then there is no point in using a wide angle lenze. If I had it to do again I would not buy the Mexgon and for that matter would stay clear of ebay as I have never really been satisfied with anything have I bought there. Anyone know where I can get a lenze adaper for this camera. john.hamilton5@ntlworld.com
