They responded with, just send it to us with all your documentation and a check for shipping and handling.
I replied, no thanks, the camera's not worth the price of shipping.
It's not my camera, but I thought Vivitar could come up with a better solution than that. I'm sure that they are aware that not all cards are compatible with their equipment, and they should publish some list of tested compatible cards, so the consumer doesn't have to do all their testing for them.
It's just an inexpensive pocket camera and does quite well with it's 8mb of built-in memory. The owner may have to be satisfied with that.
