You absolutely, positively must have that data

then the price, whatever it is, will be deemed as "worth it"

Data recovery is not cheap, I have been quoted $3,000 to recover data from an 80GB drive, which is why you will find that people ask about the service and then decide that the data is not quite worth that amount.

In your case, it's probably cheap.
