Does what use more space than Dazzle?

The Canopus? It shouldn't. Standard video is standard video - you might see a small difference in file size because of the way the different hard drives allocate space for files, but neither the Canopus nor the Dazzle takes up file space - they are, as you know, external boxes that are converting the analog information to digital so your computer can deal with them...
Come to think of it the Dazzle *might* take up more space on your Windows machine because of the drivers that are installed and needed for Windows to know what to do - but that also has nothing to do with the actual video file that was digitized and taking up space on the hard drive.
