Just tried this solution with the register and it works!!

I just removed the two entries in the Register, (after making a backup of it, and setting a restart point), and now the CD & DVD drivers are back in operation. They stopped working when I installed, and later on removed, a version of Roxio Burning Software. The latest Roxio version works fine, but the prior installation had rendered my CD & DVD drivers useless. I should have done this earlier. Thanks a bunch!!!
