Have tried various fixes
Thank you. I get no messages or warnings when this happens. As a matter of fact the internet page will still appear on the screen as if nothing has happened. The only way I know I'm disconnected is if I try to go forward by searching or clicking on something on the page (then nothing happens). There is still a connection to the internet though if I hardwire my desktop directly to the modem.
I have called Netgear and they find nothing wrong with my router. I tried reinstalling the printer drivers as well.
I did notice that when I ran the Network Config Page the other day that the IP address (under IPv4) is different (192.168.1.4 instead of 192.168.1.5 from yesterday).
I will try to unhook everything and start from scratch, in case there may be a hardware problem. I cannot do this until tonight or tomorrow morning.
