You said no, you cannot access wifi except through yours!

Did you try to war drive (locate a wifi spot 1,2,3 miles near your location that is open)? The best way to do this is with a laptop and an external wifi receiver, bought from walmart (netgear preferably)! Put the receiver on your dash and drive around and see if there is one near you that isnt locked! If you find one, see how far from that spot it takes to lose the signal headed to your home, if you can get near your home with at least it identifying the signal then you can buy a range extender to boost that signal to reach your home. Again, this is just an idea, I have no idea where or how far you are from other homes businesses etc. But if you are its worth a try. Another thing is directional yagi antennas with amplified receivers on top of your house, those things can get 4 miles line of sight!(NO OBSTRUCTIONS) thanks
