Thank you for your interest.
I have no inkling of the make and model of the computer. There is no sign on the cover other than the Microsoft sticker confirming XP authenticity and the key number.

I tried the M/B disc but it shows all the Microsoft OS's up to the XP nothing further. I hope there is a solution without the pedigree of the Computer.

The people I thought; I bought the computer(a local firm, very reliable) from tell me that they never used Matsonic M/B. So I am, as the local Yorkshire saying goes, up the creek without a paddle!

Yes it is ethernet connected as I said in my first post.
