Now for the scanner part. Your scanner came with a disk. You should be able to install the drivers for the scanner with the disk. Same with a camera.

If these things do NOT work, do you have a recovery disk?

If so, then insert the recovery disk and restart your computer.

Press any key to boot with recovery disk.

Select install

yes to agreement

then choose recover.

It will take about 30 minutes, give or take depending on your processor. No programs or files will be lost. You will have to go to windows updates and reinstall them.

Before you recover Windows, Do you have the proper keys for your products?

If you're not sure, run Belarc Advisor

http://www.download.com/3000-2094_4-10643403.html

so you have your product keys.

Unistall Microsoft Picture It after you have the product key and before you recover.

Hope this helps.
