My point of calling it Google FF was to show how much of Mozilla has become like Google. They have done a slow death spiral in trying to copy and not compete with Google. What made Mozilla FF stand out and made it a great browser was the Add On. When they went on the ever newer but never better quick release time schedule they broke what made them great. With each new release, starting with Google FF 4, they have had nothing but problems with Add On and have yet to solve that. Even with the release of 12 I have been reading about people trying to find out why it is crashing and when we tell them to disable all Add On it stop crashing. Then the user has to figure out which one of them is causing the problem. Add Ons made Mozilla great and they broke the best part trying to be like Google. If anyone has followed the numbers like I have can see that Mozilla is trying hard but can not win back its once loyal users. Burnt once twice shy.
It does sadden me. I was once one of the biggest Mozilla FF fanboys who ever walked and surfed the net. I installed it in every machine I could. At last those days are over. Mozilla will be a lesson I will use to teach my grand kids that if you copy things and not play to your strengths, then you will fail.
