Silent Updating Is Not For Me

First, I already have 3 browsers and don't need another one.

Second, the silent updating, which according to Google, will happen even if the browser is not in use, implies that "Chrome" cranks up something in the background when your system is started up.

The user is apparently unaware of this and may have no control over it and Chrome (Google) could download and install just about anything they want on your system and you would not even know about it.

Definitely a "NO NO" for me.

Third, I understand that each tab opening takes up a bunch of memory (anywhere from 16-20 megs), so this thing could become a memory hog for some users.

Now go have a great day and happy Googling.
