Release Date : 2012-04-11
Criticality level : Less critical
Impact : Cross Site Scripting
Where : From remote
Solution Status : Vendor Patch
Software: Pluck SiteLife 5.x
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Pluck SiteLife, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "jsonRequest" parameter in Direct/Process, "r" and "cb" parameters in Direct/jsonp.htm, and "cb" parameter in sys/jsonp.app/.htm (when "widget_path" is valid) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 5.0.13.
Update to version 5.0.13.
