Removing Conduit Engine / Toolbar

There's a possibility you inadvertently installed their toolbar, when installing certain software. In some instances, it comes pre-checked and is easy to miss.
You haven't mentioned which browser you're using, or which operating system. First try removing it manually.
See if Conduit Engine is listed in Add / Remove. Remove it, if there. Also look in Internet Explorer's add-ons.
IF you're using FF, see if you find it when going to Tools>Add-ons. Without knowing which version you (might) have installed, you're going to have to do a little hunting around. It shouldn't be difficult to find.
I would highly suggest downloading and installing the Revo Uninstaller. It's free. And should help clean any leftover files.
It also wouldn't hurt to run a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. It can be downloaded from here or (directly) from here.
