Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Fedora, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error in the "RenderV2ToFile()" [tag_file.cpp] function within id3lib that handles temporary files in an insecure manner, which could allow malicious users to conduct symlink attacks and create or overwrite arbitrary files with the privileges of the user invoking the vulnerable library.
