Then you may reinstall your mouse driver if necessary.
Other possibilty, even the USB cable/port can be the problem...
But please be aware that MANY wireless devices (mouse in this matter) are known to move by itself, and can get interference from any other things around it.
Beside the Mouse Pad also a factor (shiny and colorfull pad is the worst for optical mouse)
