I meant "prescription" indeed. I did it 2 times right and 2 times wrong. For the birth control pill, however, the doctor expects you back every year or every two year to see if everything still is right. But that doesn't make it a subscription, of course.
Consider it a mistake from a non-native speaker/writer.
