It didn't actually give me the answer for solution but got my mind working and figured the right question to search and did so. All I had to do was search how to reset default for the printer, had an idea and found out by going to HP user manual and did so with a simple holding down the # & 6 while plugging in the power cord and Wah Lah, back in business. Hooray! Man you have no idea the weight that takes off my shoulders from the next time mom wants to print!
Still need to work on the Homegroup issue as there has been one reply I'll try and figure out.
