I had downloaded the divX pack, and a converter for video files to which I have the link;

http://download.cnet.com/Free-Convert-to-DIVX-AVI-WMV-MP4-MPEG-Converter/3000-2194_4-10906593.html if I had to guess which one gave me that unwanted crudware blekko I'd say it was the one to which I provided the link, as I trust divx, but I'm not that savvy so its just a guess!

There wasn't anything that gave me an option to install this blekko thing, and I've been researching it all morning and alot of people have also had a similar issue...the type of file that comes with the blekko was called vishcom anti-phishing - which in my opinion is more like malware as it wiped all my tabs and defaults without any permission.

Thank you for the response and for clearing that up.

I may have finally got rid of it from my system although it still shows up as a web search option.
