Thanks for your reply R. Proffitt.
1. I put the Samsung Recovery disc in the Samsung RV510 cd rom and boot the computer up.
2. On then screen then it says 'Windows is loading files."
3. Then it says on the screen; "Starting Windows."
4. Then a window comes ups which gives you three options;
1. "Install Windows"
2. "What to know before installing windows"
3. "Repair your computer"
5. I choose "Repair your computer"
6. Then it brings up a window which says " System Recovery Option" and gives you two options
1. "Use Recovery tools that can help fix problems starting windows"
2. " Restore yoru computer using a system that you created earlier" ( I have created a system earlier)
7. I choose "Restore yoru computer using a system that you create earlier"
8. It brings up a window with a button on that says 'Load Drives'
9. I try to load drives, it can't find the drives, I try to refresh it doesn't work.
When I boot up and windows comes ups which gives you the three options;
1. "Install Windows"
2. "What to know before installing windows"
3. "Repair your computer"
I have also chosen the option "Install Windows" and then chosen 'Custom(advanced) option to install windows. Then a window comes up which says, 'No Drives were found' and if I tried to load drives it says, 'No drives found. I have the Samsug Recovery disc in the cd rom when I am doing this, I thought the Recovery disc would have the Window 7 Drives on them.
I am guessing that the Windows 7 operating system( Which I assume is on the Samsung Recovery disc?) can't install onto the Samsung RV510 computer because their are no drives on the computer? Does the Samsung RV510 hard drive have to be completely deleted(formatted) before you try to install windows 7 operating system? Are the drives and window 7 operating system on the Samsung recovery disc?
