You didn't mention anything about the hardware you are using but am assuming it is an all in one unit of some type. Typically you would uninstall and reinstall software (drivers) for the unit generally using the manufacturer's software on CD or go to the manufacturer's web site to download a software driver package. You said you replaced the HDD which would typically require a Windows OS installation and then peripheral software loads beyond that. A bit more information on that/those procedures might help, it might just be that you need to upgrade the software drivers from the manufacturer's website.
