In his recent MFI Late-Breakers, UPDATED: Worried about permissions?, Joe Aimonetti was able to provide two links to MacFixIt Forums' threads.

Would it be possible to make archive.macfixitforums.com searchable by the rest of us? I am unable to login and receive this error message:
Safari can't open the specified address.
Safari cant open ://localhost/ because Mac OS X doesnt recognize Internet addresses starting with :.

Might there be a setting in the UBB.threads' Control Panel which would return the Search option to the navigation bar, i.e, the line which currently reads
Register User | Forum List | FAQ,
without the need to login?
