First, download an app uninstaller for your Mac. I use AppTrap a lot, and I like it, but that didn't find the system preference for TechTracker. Then, I installed AppDelete (the one that is $7.99 to buy, not the $5 one). Just simply drag the icon of TechTracker (from a Finder Window) and it will show the TechTracker folder (the one in your Application folder) and TechTracker. Because the system preference is NOT in either one of those files, you have to click on the top "Others." Scroll past the widgets, and there should be your preferences (before your plug-ins). Find the one with TechTracker in the name and select it. Click "Search" on the bottom and then "Delete." Then, check System Preferences and make sure it's not there.
Note: I tried the uninstaller bundled with TechTracker, it didn't work. Even when I re-downloaded it, it still didn't work.
