Great! That worked for me a treat. I had the same thing of having sound only through the headpones but not the speakers. Sound incon grey'd out, red light from the jack etc.

I put a headphone jack in the hole and gave it a good old shove (pretty hard) and sure enough, the sound icon started working again. All good, thanks very much
