neither are optical disks.

You may find that there are a certain brand, or color, of disk that your optical drive does not like.

I had one that would not read any disk that was a gold color and it threw a hissy fit over any Imation disk.

As a matter of interest, were these disks all burned on the same PC?

Optical drives wear out over time and as the laser gets weaker, it does not burn as efficiently
