Baileyannesmom thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a Denon AVR-1909 that just stopped working (I have picture but no sound). Of course I contacted the store I purchased the receiver and a tech came out....only to work for him. So next he suggested that I should "purchase" a new one for him because I the receiver is 5 years old. Well this didn't feel right. I put off for months getting one. I decided to research and discovered what you suggested; gave it a try and bamm! I am back in business. Thanks for the info. Now I am enjoying and having better feelings about Denon but no great feelings about the local store (Kadairs) that was trying to get over on me!!!
