The Netflix sound issue is one that has come up on other Smart TVs and the maker tends to not take ownership since they don't write the app.

Consumers are getting upset about makers that trot out these products then can't fix an issue because the maker doesn't have the means or access to the code to fix it up.

Sounds like Windows all over again.
