I looked at the s8200 to see if the reviews mentioned lag.

That means the camera starts taking pictures as you begin to press the shutter, instead of waiting until it is fully depressed, because most nonpros tend to shoot a beat too late. Continuous shooting mode grabs shots at up to six frames per second."

Maybe that's a feature you want?
