Camcorder with SD cards

Most of the newer camcorders use SD cards to record video and photos. The camera generates MTS or JPEG files on the card which can be read by your PC card reader.

My setup is a Panasonic HC-V700 with a 32Gb SDHC card. Panasonic supply software with the camera called HDWriter, this helps unload the files and separate them from the "housekeeping" files that the camera also creates.
The camera also has USB and HDMI output so the choice is yours.

So there is a wide range of cameras with that facility, Canon is another example.
