If you plan to get an SSD, then pay for the more premium models. Take a cue that its best used in Win7, maybe Vista OS too. If you find a great deal, be sure it is. Some of the lesser or entry level SSD though they work may have a checked past. These SSDs are tiered it seems thus the premium comment. Further if you really have to have one, I part that "hybrid" models are the goto drives to get. Google for "TRIM command" and all it entails.
