Thank you for the links, i've read your E601i-A3 review before and that was what actually convinced me to pull the trigger. The second link is very helpful as well. The uniformity issue is not nearly as bad as any of those examples so far, and thankfully only visible during those boot up, no input screens, and certain video games (albeit barely visible).
Since this is a common issue with Edgle Lit TV's, and since the issue with my TV seems to be minor, would you suggest I shrug it off and keep the TV? Or return it for a new one and hope it doesn't have the same issue? I realize this would be a bit of a gamble since the next TV could have the same issue and to a worse degree.
