As other have stated, it happens with all brands but I still like my first solution best, and external USB keyboard and mouse. No more problems at all at home. On the road you can check all the other answers such as reducing the sensitivity, or disabling, but I just keep my hand off the touch pad while traveling, but haven's tried putting a small magazine over the touchpad as that too may work. Great technology sometimes bring minor irritations. Think back 15 years then you can appreciate what we have... This was spoked by a 65 year old man who remembers having to dial an operator to call a frined when I was a child.
