Dear Cannon,

It seems that it's time for you to step up to the plate and do something about this camera. It seems highly likely at this point that there was a design flaw in some aspect of the camera causing this repeated problem for numerous customers who bought your camera--with the good reputation that comes along with a Cannon.

Please let us all know how we can get our cameras repaired and/or replaced without cost. Alternatively, we can all visit the numerous rating sites for Cannon equipment to share our experiences with your products.
