May be a driver conflict!!

I ran into a system running Win 2000 that did this, and, believe it or not, it turns out that the printer driver was causing all the headache. A simple update from the Epson website fixed the whole problem. No more Scandisk! Try going thru your system and checking for driver updates for all your components (that's a good idea anyway). They're almost always available directly from the manufacturer's website. You may be surprised! Good luck!
