My local public library has a lot of good info about e-books with links to other sites having them as well. As far as e-book readers goes, I have a Kindle Fire which I like because it can do email, web surfing, and games as well as e-books. If you only want e-books you can get good ones at lower cost. You could check out the complete Kindle line at Amazon here http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_3?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-text&field-keywords=kindle&sprefix=kin%2Caps%2C167 . Barnes and Noble has the Nook which is pretty popular. I don't think any of the above have buttons, but I got used to the touch screen pretty quickly. It's covered with finger prints, but I don't see them when mine's powered on, and I NEVER clean it.

Good luck.
