I bought a PanDigital EBook last fall prior to a trip to Key West. I was thinking about taking a laptop and reading material when I saw the moderately priced PanDigital EBook on QVC. That stopped me in my tracks, 1 item 7" that would provide me with my email and reading material. It's OK - already outdated though, but won't spend more money for a newer model. For those that are naysayers - that like to hold a book in their hand - my ereader is about the size of a paperback book, but you can adjust the font size, so instead of having tiny faint print on a paperback page - it's now dark & the size I want it to be. Also, to the person who said they wanted to buy books - not ebooks - try to buy a new book at 3:00 in the morning or in my small town try to buy affordable books period. Love, love the convenience of hooking up with Barnes & Nobel whenever I choose to. Plus, there are 1000s of free books that I can get through Barnes & Nobel.
