You were the second source to recommend Acronis ... Western Digital also recommended it, and I downloaded it from their site. I was suprised how fast the backup was. I'm only using 47.7GB of the total of 129 GB (those are real GB's .... not the marketing hype that states that the drives are 150GB), but as I load more software, the amount of data will encrease. I'll build a simple batch file for the data backup, and I also have a $5/month Mozy account for my data and my Outlook data files.

I think I'm on the road to recovery. Thanks to both of you for your help!
