Resolved question: windows 7 32 vs 64 printer setup

I have a desk top with Win 7 64 bit and a laptop with Win 7 64 bit I have a HP MFP set up on the desk top system and share it with the laptop using the home group set up. My wife got a used laptop with Win 7 32 bit, I,ve been able to connect this machine to my home group and able to "look" at the other systems files and move files between both the 64 bit and 32 bit systems. When I tried to set up the printer by using the add printer wizard the 32 bit system sees the printer as being on the network but when I click to set it up the system checks for the driver then a message pops up that windows cannot install printer and asks if I want to find the "inf" file manualy. When I try to do that I'm unable to locate the printers folder. I have the install disk for the printer so do I need to install the prnter to the 32 bbit machine from the disk even through it is not connected to the printer directly via usb cable. As always thanks for any advice.
