i too dont have a problem with internet access, and changing those settings didnt affect things either. my problem was syncing through windows live, it wouldn't, although it would over wifi. i changed this setting and i could sync with hotmail though win live and my phone internet connection was uneffected. im guessing it would be the same through outlook, but if not you can always use windows live, or ofcourse gmail wink
