Don't know why

The monitor has been working perfectly since I did the factory reset, as outlined above. It's a bit frustrating because I'd like to know WHY this happened. If I have a recurrence again I will first switch out the power bar for another. If there are other issues I will be sure to post back in case it helps someone else down the road.
