AC adapter connector issue

Hi,
It seems that the AC adapter port has a loose connection or bent/broken pins. Check for any damage on the AC adapter port.
Some Dell XPS models are shipped with a DC-IN connector which connects to the system board with a cable.
If your laptop has the DC-IN connector, replacing it may help.
If the AC adapter port is on the system board, you may have to replace the system board.
